Does Your Classroom Suffer from Boring Presentations?
If you’re interested in enhancing classroom presentations—yours and your students'—consider entering the AVerMedia Technologies Inc. annual document camera contest. Document cameras allow you to display documents and small 3-D objects on a screen, television, projector, or monitor.
Teachers, administrators, or students may submit a 10–20 minute video describing original and interesting classroom lessons and applications with their document camera. Don't have a document camera? Submit a video describing the difficulty of using traditional presentation technology in the classroom.
You may submit one video per classroom on CD or DVD, mailed to AVerMedia Technologies in Milpitas, California. Four new AVerVision document cameras will be awarded, one to each of the third, second, first, and grand prize winners.
The contest ends November 15, 2007. For a full description of the contest, including rules, requirements, and the address to submit videos, visit: AVerMedia Technologies.
