Family-School-Community Partnerships Initiative
The National Education Association's Family-School-Community-Partnerships initiative supports and encourages collaborative efforts to improve student learning through the involvement and support of parents, families, and communities.
This program presents current research, theory, and state-of-the-art practice that will help to create and build partnerships in local communities. The training provides participants with strategies for developing and sustaining strong partnerships as well as developing the skills to make these partnerships succeed inclusive of racial, class, and cultural diversity.
Targeted Audience
The training is designed for Association members and staff, parents, and community members with an interest in or involved in planning or building family-school-community partnerships. Maximum effectiveness is achieved when training sessions include educators, parents, families, and community members together.
Training time
